Warranty Information
This policy explains the warranty cover available for products sold by Scorelink Solutions Limited and how to make a warranty claim. Please contact us before returning a product.
Most products come with a 12-month warranty.
Selected APC and Delta products may have warranty cover of up to 3 years.
Scorelink does not provide ADP. Customers may arrange cover with a third-party insurer.
1. Warranty Period and Cover
Most products sold by Scorelink Solutions Limited come with a 12-month warranty. Some manufacturers, including APC and Delta, offer warranties of up to 3 years on selected products.
The warranty period and cover depend on the product, model and manufacturer. Please check your product information or purchase documents for the applicable warranty. Claims are handled under the relevant manufacturer’s terms and assessment.
2. Accidental Damage Protection
Scorelink Solutions Limited does not provide Accidental Damage Protection (ADP). If you need cover for accidental damage, we encourage you to arrange it through a third-party insurance provider. Check the insurer’s policy for its cover, conditions and exclusions.
3. How to Make a Warranty Claim
Contact Scorelink before returning a product. Please provide:
- Your Scorelink tax invoice or other proof of purchase.
- A clear description of the fault.
- Photos, videos or other fault information if requested.
- The product and its supplied accessories or parts. Include the original packaging where available.
The product must be inspected and tested before we confirm whether the claim qualifies for warranty service.
4. What May Not Be Covered
A warranty may not cover damage caused by:
- Misuse, neglect, impact or improper storage.
- Water, moisture, chemicals or other liquids.
- Installation, repairs or changes made by an unauthorized person.
- Use or maintenance that does not follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Power surges, unstable power or lightning, unless the product’s warranty specifically covers them.
- A broken, removed or altered warranty seal, where applicable.
Keep your proof of purchase and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation, use and maintenance.
5. Inspection and Warranty Outcome
After inspection, the product may be repaired or replaced, depending on the fault and the manufacturer’s assessment. If repair or replacement is unavailable, another remedy may be offered where appropriate.
6. Returns, Shipping and Repairs
Contact Scorelink for return instructions before sending a product for inspection. Customers are responsible for return shipping and handling unless Scorelink confirms otherwise in writing.
If no fault is found or the claim is outside the warranty, the customer remains responsible for return and collection costs.
Some products must be sent to a manufacturer or authorized repair centre. Repairs may take up to 12 weeks, depending on the fault, parts availability and the service centre’s turnaround time. We will notify you when the product is ready for collection.
7. Advance Replacement
An advance replacement may be offered in selected cases if agreed in writing. If inspection later finds that the returned product has no fault or is not covered by the warranty, Scorelink may invoice the customer for the replacement product.
8. Products Not Collected
Please collect repaired or replacement products within 30 days after we notify you that they are ready. Storage charges or other steps to recover reasonable costs may apply after this period, where permitted by law.
9. Refurbished Products
Refurbished products may contain repaired, reused or replacement parts and may show signs of previous use. Their warranty period and cover vary by product and manufacturer. Where available, we will communicate the applicable warranty at the time of purchase.
10. Customer Responsibilities
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation, use and maintenance.
- Keep your invoice or other proof of purchase.
- Make the product available for inspection and provide supplied accessories or parts.
- Pay applicable return shipping, handling or collection costs.
- Collect repaired or replacement products when notified.
11. Liability and Your Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy removes any rights you have under applicable law. Where the law allows, Scorelink Solutions Limited is not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or business interruption, arising from product failure.
Customers are responsible for claims or damage resulting from unlawful use, unauthorized changes or improper installation by them or their agents.
